On June 12, 2026, at Tan Hung Campus, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) and the University of Danang, University of Science and Education (UED) held a working session and signed a cooperation plan in the areas of scientific research, education, and innovation.

This activity concretizes the contents of the cooperation agreement signed between TDTU and UED in March 2026. As a member institution of the University of Danang, UED is expected to work closely with TDTU to effectively implement academic and research collaboration programs in the coming period.

During the working session, leaders and scientists from both institutions discussed key areas of cooperation, including the joint implementation of scientific research projects, publication of research findings in reputable international journals, organization of scientific conferences and seminars, exchange of lecturers, experts, and researchers, and the sharing of academic resources to support education and research activities.

Proposed areas of collaboration include the application of artificial intelligence in education, the development of adaptive learning models, research in psychology and education, social sciences, and digital heritage. Both institutions also expressed interest in research areas that support sustainable development, such as aquaculture environments, the impacts of microplastics and emerging pollutants, the development of biological products for agriculture and aquaculture, and the establishment of green and sustainable educational models.

By leveraging and connecting the respective strengths of the two institutions in education and research, the cooperation plan is expected to enhance the quality of scientific research outcomes, generate highly applicable products, address practical needs, and make meaningful contributions to the country’s socio-economic development.

As part of the visit and working program, representatives of UED’s research groups also attended and presented at the 4th International Conference on Innovative Research in the Social Sciences and Humanities (ISSH 2026), held at TDTU.
